Hey All
I have a line on a narrow body SN that has a shot floor and motor, I was thinking of buying it for the trailer, because my narrow body is not on a SN trailer. I was going to mothball the engine and drive/running gear. There will be a couple other spare parts, but I am thinking of turning the hull into a bar for my dock area. Would that be sacrilege? I wanted to check first to make sure I do not become one of the "unchosen".

Go for it.
If I'm not mistaken there some threads here about guys that made cool bars out of old hulls...

So I think the bar may turn up some good parts for the narrow body guys. I have pulled the motor and running gear. I will post stuff here along with pictures of the bar. I wish I had these before I sold the 75.

The manifold separates nicely from the riser, and the manifold came off the engine with nice clean bolts leading me to believe they were recently changed. Who needs them?

I think the bar at the end of your dock might be the least of your problems!

Bar looks great. Looks like a spot where Adam could spend most of his Wrecking Crew visit

I think Patrick took some pics. After the fins, rudder, shaft and prop were removed, I duct taped the holes, floated the boat by backing it in, and then hauled it into place with the tractor. I figured I could then loosen the engine brackets and lift the engine out with the boom on the tractor. That was not to be. I could lift it out of the bracket, but that was it. So I needed to get some weight off the engine. I pulled the alternator, manifold/risers and water pump, I tried the starter and transmission, but water had sat in the boat and the transmission bolts were so rusted that the bottom bolts were trashed. It was still too heavy to lift over the sides, so I cut the sides out of the boat, lifted the motor an inch, and drove it through the gap. I guess I will pull off the heads and intake if anyone needs them. I hope Adam will enjoy it. I think this year, we will emphasize flyboarding. I sold the jump to the Cypress Gardens Ski Team, so unless Adam and Hollywood and Adam really want to jump this year, we will leave it at Lake Silver.

I think you should rig the steering wheel to open up the mini fridge You may even be able to use the old steering cable and keep it original!
