For some of you more knowledgeable boaters:
Why are most boats "Right Hand Drive"? Yet some early boats were not. Just curious. Seems like it would have been easier to switch helm sides than it was to produce RR engines. Maybe posted before but I could not find it.

Duane,
You picked one of the very few port helmed boats!!
Chances are high that this 30 Chris was equipped with the Chris Craft manufactured A-120 which was a LH rotation. The A-120 was before the days Chris started using lots of Hercules blocks and marinizing them. With the Hercules mounted FWF (flywheel forward), a LH engine becomes a RH hence the starboard helm in later hulls.
