The ice out up here is pretty much on schedule. Some of the smaller lakes were ice free a couple days ago. Here's a picture from the bottom of my steps to my pier. The middle has opened up and with temps to be in the 60's for a couple days, what ice is still here I expect will be gone shortly. Skiing anyone? Well, as of Sunday afternoon, the ice is completely out but I got up this morning to find we got 6" of heavy wet snow over night! Haven't had the boat in the water yet this year. Missed being able to ski/foot past the remaining ice last weekend but hope to get out next weekend. ------------- The world is full of youth—what we need is a fountain of smart! |
