I'm curious if there's a fix for this: when I accelerate in my 1996 Super Sport with GT40 and Acme 644 prop, I get a lot of steering pull and when I let off the throttle, the boat turns quickly away from center. I just adapt to it but when I drive other boats I don't feel it the same way. I don't know how to tune the rudder (there are no trim tabs on my older style rudder. I've heard of folks grinding on the rudder, but again it's not something I know anything about really.

Any advice? Should I just live with it?

Thanks, Pete! Sounds like changing out the rudder is the easy way. I'll wait until next rudder repack and swap it then.
