Did a search of the forums and couldn't find any discussion on the ski pylon. I have a 1993 with 700 hours. While pulling my son last night I started hearing a creak during his turns both sides. We stopped and I looked at the U-bolt and holds the pylon to the aluminum cross member. I loosened the two U-bolt nuts and made them tight again. They were tight before. It still creaks. In my opinion creak is normal if you're a big strong person. | I use a fairly long breaker bar to tighten those nuts. Typically the difference between the pole moving slightly and not moving is only a very small turn on the nuts. Probably less than 1/8 of a turn. |
