I sure wish I could find a truth table / interlock chart for the GT-40.   Hopefully ya'll can help me out.   98 ski nautique

Motor turns over but does not fire.
   - kill switch is by passed, but opening up circuit does not change anything
- hi pressure pump primes
- put code reader on it, no codes
= swapped relays out with new ones, nada
- checked circuit breakers on motor, none are popped.
- battery connections are good (this boat does not have main fuse I've read about)
- tested and made sure battery was fully charged
- looked over motor and could not find any wires loose / cut

This acts just like kill switch but must be something else.

Thanks,

Do you have spark?

Can you check the fuel rail pressure?

Here's some reading from an old thread that may or may not apply to you since you made no mention of whether you have spark or not.

And the 10 pin round connector in the manual is cleverly disguised as an 8 pin rectangular connector in real life

May have nothing to do with your issue but worth a read

Did you check voltage out of the breakers or just look to see if they weren't "popped"

thanks Gary S - I've dug around a bit and never found this manual.

Have not checked spark / rail pressure(don't have gauge for this) but from past experience it has always been some switch (ie kill switch) or relay.
