Been looking for a time and money saver. Any input on this? I have a crapload of things to do and this has to get done or gone..Also,any thing I should be cautious of on the mlotor mounts ? Bellhousing Ect? I have the mechanial ability,just all new to me. Thanks guys.Joby

There won't be any problems with motor mounts or the bellhousing or using your intake manifold or anything else it's the same block you should be a go

Joe,what I meant about the motor mounts was any tricks to ease my install and not get anything out of line .Ive done plenty of engine swaps,Just not in a SN.Was just curious if it was just as straight forward as it looks. Thanks

If you've done plenty of engine swaps, I'd say that it' as straightforward as it looks, but no matter how hard you try to avoid an alignment check/alignment job afterwards you'll be doing at least a check and probably an alignment job.

I planned on checking after the install,and then making any adjustments.Thanks for the input guys.Not saying I'll enjoy this process,but I'm looking forward to it. I started a new thread that I'll keep updated pics on.

Clean up the corrosion on the motor/ trans mounts while they are on the bench.

Then you won't fight it in the bilge.
