My harmonic balancer blew apart. New form PCM, this is $$$ part in kind for Reverse (RT) rotation. Can I use a standard (LT) rotation instead and itch a new timing mark on the other side of TDC, as they are a third of the cost??? 1987 Ski Nautique, 351 Ford Pleasurecraft

Nothing rotation specific about the balancer, other than the timing marks.

^^^^ That

The balancer is specific' to the crankshaft, which doesn't care which way it turns.
