After taunting us with a week of temperatures in the high 60's, Mother Nature slapped us around with a spring snowfall this morning.

[All you great northern skiers will laugh as you've still got 2 feet of snow on the ground}

Yeah its been a long winter in MT too. No highs in the 60s yet either just spring snow every day.   Cant even enjoy the slopes and the record snow this year as I had knee surgery in the fall so I would be ready for waterskiing.

Ditto ... Last 2 days around here we had record highs fot this time of year with 91 Thursday and 84 yesterday.   Front moved in from the northwest overnight and we're back to 35/38 for the high today and they say it will drop further this afternoon.   UGGGGHH....

The 14th is the average ice out for Lake Minnetonka. it was showing few signs of melting off by last friday, and we added 14 inches of snow on top of it in the last to days. Currently it is 21 degrees. . Happy 75th day of February!

We are in full-blown "multiple personality disorder" today. Temps in mid 50's to 60's for the last few days. Then I woke up to this today:

Y'all just need to quit your complaining. Youse guys are always jonesing to get the snowmobiles out and now your fussing because the white stuff keeps coming back. Think positive my boat buds. You won't have to summarize the sled because at this rate it'll only sit for maybe two months before you get to ride it again. Besides look at the money you'll save on gas for the boat AND tow vehicle with trips to the lake. I mean, you'll get one maybe two tanks of fuel run through it then you'll have to winterize it all over again.     Bwaaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaa Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Sunny and 81'F here in Hotlanta tomorrow....I believe it's " Kermie Time" !

We had 20.4 inches Saturday and Sunday and I did take the sled out Monday and put 80 miles on it. Temps look good from here on out. Most of the snow should be gone by the end of next week then we just have to melt the rest of the ice.
