I just got a 2002 Ski Nautique CB with the rear stern trunk and the latch actuator buttons do not work with the power turned on. Any idea what may cause the electric actuators not to work?

I have a 2004 and the latch is manually operated.

Matt, Welcome to CCfan. If you just found us, take a look around as I feel you'll find the site very interesting.
Regarding the trunk actuator. I'd suggest getting the VOM out and getting some voltage readings to find out if there's power going to it. If not, trace back to find the fault.

I don't have access to my buddy's boat to confirm, but I'm thinking those latches are mechanical. I think there are two or three buttons. One on each side of the boat and one outside the transom. ICBW. I also thought I remember a manual release that is tucked up under one of the gunnels. Again, ICBW.
