The running boards and fender sides of my Ramlin trailer for my 1997 need attention. I'd like to skip the carpet on wood replacement, and not use diamond plate. What composite and what thickness would do the trick?

Jim, Why not the diamond plate? The down side to composite HDPE is how slippery it gets when wet. When I'm talking to a HD customer looking at composite decking, I do bring up this down side. Another composite would be foam PVC board which isn't as slippery but to my knowledge is only made in white which would get dirty pretty easily. If you do go with a HDPE board, I wouldn't go any thinner than 3/4. and it is made in black.
