I have the Teleflex M27 tachometer in my 1971 Ski Nautiuqe. It is currently not wired into the wiring harness of the boat. I need some guidance on which wires should be connected where. I have the following color coded wires: orange, green, white, black. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

I got the answer from tech support at Teleflex. The color codes are:
white is ground
black is positive
green is light
orange is neg. side of ignition coil
