want to build a low end torque motor,anyone had any dealings with the 331 or 347 strokers being turned rev. rotation. have all the goodies on my pcm 302,carb.intake,dist, want to build a long block and swap out engines. any help guys????????????????????

I wouldn't recommend the 347, the second oil ring is compromised for the piston pin, oil consumption and shorter longevity would result. The marginal rod/stroke ratio gives high side loading, that would be tough on a marine application.
