A friend just showed me his 1979 Nautique, which has an orange interior (orange-with-black specs carpeting).
Can someone tell us where we could get replacement carpeting for this boat?

i think this type of carpeting is no longer available, its kinda like the old outdoor carpet, but if you are going to recarpet the whole boat i would use the carpet that they use in the new boats.

My '79 Mustang had brown carpet with black specs and I managed to get something close but not exact. It is unlikely you will find the same carpet type or color.
You can try http://www.boatcarpetbuys.com/ - BoatCarpetBuys.com . Not sure if the Sportman's Classic Heritage or Corona would work for you? I ordered the Walnut for mine.
