what is the factory setting on my boat?i need some help my boat seems slugish and has loss of power my distibutor has not been moved. if i can put a timing lite and dwell the dist..thanks

If the engine is a 351, it is 10 degrees BTC at 600 RPM. It should advance to 30 degrees as you rev the engine.

Checking your timing is a good start. If you haven't changed your fuel filter/separator you might want to do that too.
