Behind the dash just under the tack there is about a 4”black black poured block about 3/8”thick with wires that plug into it. Can someone tell me what is its purpose and are they still available as mine has a crack in it

It's probably your alarm module.

In the link is a wiring diagram for a same vintage Ski Nautique dash which isn't exactly the same but isn't much different either

The diagram is from the reference section under misc files here on CCF

As long as the gauges work, most people don't seem to worry about the module
