sorry about that. It is 90 and humid here, and will be all weekend -- perfect October boating bonus weekend.

Hard to imagine that from here in FL! We will be on the lake several times this weekend. Things finally cooled down some this week to the upper 80's...

We were hoping to go on a fall foliage expedition, but we have had 15 inches of rain this last month, so rivers are basically non-boatable.
Hopefully the spigot will be turned off when freezing weather arrives!

This conversation always reminds me of a summer back in early 90s when I lived in upstate NY, I had made plans to go skiing one labor day weekend morning. Got up that morning and my daughter's little kiddie pool out on the back deck had a skim of ice on it.

The bigger problem it seems is trying to ski in a kiddie pool Larry

None done. Depresses me to winterize boats before it's absolutely necessary. Looking forward to getting out with the fall colors.

My issue is my pier and lift service started 2 weeks ago and all I could get from them is 2 extra weeks. It can get pretty nasty out there and I'm glad it's not me with the hip boots and waders on!!

I always laugh at those stories. I have not seen any changes in water level and we have pictures back to 1980 to look back on. We have a neighbor across from us with a drain pipe from his fish cleaning station which is a real easy way to judge water level changes on it. It would have to go up 5 feet before it would even overflow our canal, alot of others will be hurting before us
