Chris, There isn't any decoding that can be done since that is not a HIN. Thanks Pete. I believe I am the third owner of this boat. Previous owner was told that the original owner forgot to winterize it at some point in the 70s, and the original 289 cracked. It was replaced with the 351W that's in the boat now. Would be interesting to confirm whatever info CC has on file - I'll try emailing them. ------------- 1968 Mustang 16 - 351W powered |

Northeast Ford Engines appears to be the distributor or marinizer. They are out of business. It's reverse rotation, right hand prop on the boat (351R = reverse, I assume) ------------- 1968 Mustang 16 - 351W powered |

Don't have any overall engine photos. The risers fit under the stock doghouse with some cuts to the inside doghouse fiberglass (no modifications visible from outside). The boat is shrink wrapped for the winter, so will have to wait until spring for more photos. ------------- 1968 Mustang 16 - 351W powered |
