Restoring a 1970 Barracuda and need to replace the cheap fishing boat seats with something more original looking. I have the aluminum bases and I could make the the seat frame if someone has some pics of seats they've made or something that could help me get started. Thanks

Have you had a chance to look through the diaries like Gary mentioned in a previous post where you asked the same?

There were actually two styles of plywood based benches. One split in the middle and the other open on the port side.

what else do you need for your cuda?i have a set of fiberglass buckets and motorbox from a 70/71 ski nautique that would be close.will try to get pics after this weekend ...pm me.

Yes I've spent a lot of time looking at the cudas in the diaries section checking out details. My question I quess was more of a how to build or if anyone had pictures of seats in progress as ive never built a seat frame for a boat seat before.
