Larry,
For the ones who don't know what going on, tell us more. Is there a new boat in the works?

Maybe it's got something to do with this thread where he was doing some looking for "a friend"

How much is it? I’m confused, is it a ‘75 or a ‘76? I thought they didn’t make a Tique in ‘75? Is the motor original? Have the stringers been replaced? Can I take it for a test drive? Can my neighbors uncle do a compression check on it? I heard the Edelbrock carbs were better. How many tubes will it pull? Can you tell me how much shipping will be to 96701?

Larry,

Will you thrown in some vintage ski equipment too?

Are you breaking down and buying a 2020 G25?

Your little lake will love a G Boat !!!!!

Quick road trip to Indy and back yesterday/today. Super Kudos to Zach for an awesome rehab. She looks and runs great. Hoping the rain breaks enough tomorrow to squeeze in some runs. Really looking forward to it.

I skied one in Winter Haven when they first came out. It was a great skiing boat, the one I skied had the GT 40 and was a bonafide hot rod. Great wakes.

Will do John. That plate came off my Supra trailer which I sold in 2007? Moved it over to the tique trailer, which I have been a little remiss in registering. In fact, I had to go get a title for it last week, so I could sell it.

Little late to the party on this one but had I known I could have delivered that boat two weeks ago when I picked up the Collegian. I've been busy at work and a little out of the loop at times. Sorry I missed you larry, my bad.   Great boat though, that's quite a step up in your game.

Ha, good offer Alan but it didn't have an engine in it two weeks ago

Larry can post all the pics he wants when he gets some time.

Congrats Larry, beautiful 176. I'm guessing you had to turn away when the Tique left the driveway?

Good looking 176. Tique sold yet?

David, (and answers Tim as well), yes I will turn away as it heads out of the driveway, but even sadder, that has not occurred yet. Admittedly, this boat has a limited market. I've had a couple good leads willing to come a couple hours to see it, but then out of the blue, they pull the plug. Ugh. One decided he wanted more of a salt water boat, the second because he decided his tooner would work for a while more and this one wouldnt fit in his garage, which was apparently pretty important. The idea of giving up my old friend after 15 years was tough during the search, for a number of reasons, but now that the 176 is at the dock, eh, not quite so painful.

Does your lake allow you to have a covered boat lift? It would go a long way to ensure the beauty of your new 176. It will also keep the dock rash to a minimum.

Larry,

Great find. You know you could keep the Tique. You would not be the first CCFANer to have more than one boat.

Congrats on the sale, of course realizing it was difficult to watch it drive away. Then again, what were you supposed to do, keep the same boat until you were 90?

On to fun with the new one!!!

Agreed Alan. I would imagine a few outings in the 200 eased the pain of selling the 81.

If anyone is having a beer with friends and realizes the bar is the stern of Larry's Tique, just keep it to yourself!

What makes boats so much better than women is when you send them down the road they don't take half your stuff with them!!

Half truth on this one Magicman. I do recall several Convo's with a CCFan who sold his HotRod and sometimes wish he still had a Speedy Boat!

Congratulations on the new ride and selling of the old one LarryBoy. Care Package on the way. It'll take some getting used to seeing you in a different ride the one time a year you show up for a gathering unless you're gonna start trailering this one.
