Hi All I have a Ski Nautique 2010 with a Zero Off unit. I just put the boat in the water for the first time this season and my Zero Off wasn’t working, At First I thought it was the connector, because some times in the past the connecter would come loose from the head unit. When I checked it the today the Head unit was actually disconnected from the connector, however when I reconnected it, it still didn’t start up. I am unable to get it to start up. The strange thing is that last fall it was working fine before I put it away for the winter. I had a look at the wiring and all seems ok, I have no way to test the head unit, to see if it works and maybe its just a wore connection. Any thoughts Please let me know ASAP, summers short here in Canada
Thanks

Yeah I get it. If you want to fix it yourself there are a whole host of manuals on their site too. I have no idea how the whole signal processing works but I suspect since Zero off only works with ECM based throttles which I assume work off of the CAN bus on some sort of J-1939 protocol or newer. Maybe check power connections, fuses and breakers just to do the basics. It’s probably something simple!

Call Jody Seal at Florida Inboards or PM him on this site if The Perfect Pass folks don’t come through. He’s a wizard.
