Just completed my first fluid change one the new to me 176. Impeller is on the board for tomorrow.
The one question I have is the trans fluid dipstick. It's milled on one side and has two lines cut into it, I'm assuming below the first line is low between the two is ideal operating range? Do I push the dipstick in all the way when checking?

Manual does not provide real clear into

Thanks

Never has something with no moving parts been so hard to use.

And it's not your fault

I'd just do the cold check referenced in the link in the previous post after things have sat overnight for a consistent way of checking level.

Or in other words do it the same way under the same conditions every time for consistency
