I have a 1969 CC Mustang with a 302 HP engine. I need a rotor and cap and cannot seem to find them anywhere. The dist is a Mallory YL Type-519B Part-1103044

Any help is appreciated
Thanks

Here are some NAPA numbers
Cap 18-5375
Rotor 18-5411
And in case you decide you might need them
Points 18-5314
Condenser 18-5338
Or if you want the whole thing as a kit, then look for 18-5272
NAPA and Sierra part numbers are the same ,
Here's a link to the Sierra part number 18-5272 kit or you can get the NAPA labeled stuff locally

Summit Racing has the genuine stuff too although pricey. For some reason they show that the rotor ships today complete with price then under comments says its been discontinued ?? https://www.summitracing.com/search?SortBy=BestKeywordMatch&SortOrder=Ascending&keyword=mallory%20yl%20" rel="nofollow - Summit

Thanks, I will stop by NAPA and see if they have these in stock ore can order. I went to the NAPA up near my vacation house where the boat is but it is a very small store in a very rural area of the Sierra's. I'll let you know how things work out.
In any case I am going to upgrade to electronic this winter.
Thanks again.

So, I should be good with the part numbers that were supplied by Grand Poobah?

Should be good, you could verify that with a Google search on each number and compare pictures.
All those part numbers were from a NAPA paper catalog.
They're for your YL 519B

Went to local NAPA store yesterday and they had the parts in stock. They look exactly the same with the exception of the cap is not red it's puke yellow Ha Ha HA. Gonna install later today. Hope that fixes it.
Thanks Grand Poobah.

California's a pretty big state or country or whatever it is
There are quite a few people who are frequently here on CCF from way out there.
Just to name a few others
BKHallpass
MrMcD
AlphaDon
Mourning Wood
I think they're all from the northern part that you're in

Probably a good idea but if you must it might be a good idea to google Quinners tool box, and look at the first picture under images. Not for the faint of heart....

Nice color you don't see many of those. Back seat fiberglass or wood? Here is what the original flag staff looks like if you ever want one https://www.go2marine.com/product/86143F/perko-flag-staff-pole.html" rel="nofollow - Link . Perko now calls them a legacy product and not in full production . Grab one if you want it in case they quit making them. My December of 68 built 69 had a 289- yours must be a later production ?

Thanks for the flag link. The back seat is fiberglass. I was told it is a 302 HP but I don't know how to tell th difference. Not a engine guy but having this will most likely make me one.

Currently located in the Bay Area. Plan is to retire up in the Sierras near New Melones and Lake Tullock next year. I'll have more time next year for the boat. I have only had it out once in the past 2 years when I bought it.
