We are 3 weeks out so it is time to think about who is bringing what............
At one point it was talked about cooking a pig for Saturday - this only makes sense if there are going to be sufficient folks in attendance - if you are planning on attending please update the list on the other thread so we can plan accordingly(?)
Other - for those coming by car: the address is 242 Aberdeen Court E, New London, NC. My cell is 704.506.5905
Fuel - there is non ethanol fuel at Highway 49 Sportsman (you will pass if you are headed north from Charlotte on 49) and the Exxon on Blaine Road. There is also gas available on the Lake if needed.
Groceries - there is a Food Lion in Richfield (about 8 miles away) that is pretty nice
I have two grills and a turkey fryer that will be available
For the out of towners craving a Bojangles Biscuit there is a Bojangles next to Food Lion -
Friday night is usually pizza and wings
Saturday - Breakfast?
Saturday - Lunch
Saturday - Dinner (pig?)
Sunday - Breakfast
Sunday - Lunch
Needs - folks to contribute towards a meal or meal(s)

A pig has been confirmed for the primary meal for Saturday night and perhaps lunch leftovers on Sunday. We will need to have the accompaniments to go with the pig.
I have two grills and a turkey fryer that will be available (no oil for the fryer)
For the out of towners craving a Bojangles Biscuit there is a Bojangles next to Food Lion -
Friday night: Pizza will plan to order ahead and have at the house around 7:30
Saturday - Breakfast?
Saturday - Sausage / Mushrooms
Need hogie rolls
Chips / crackers / fruit
Saturday - Pig (Compliments of Jesse and David)
Need pasta salad
Corn on cob
Coleslaw
Baby potatoes
Sunday - Breakfast

Saturday dinner. We (by that I mean Jesse) are going to cook a pig for a NC style bbq dinner. I will help by drinking beers and making suggestions along with the rest of the peanut gallery. Jesse and I will provide the meat and a vinegar based bbq sauce for the group.
We need some volunteers for buns, sides, desert etc. to go with the pig. Suggestions, slaw, beans, puppies, etc (edit: and/or what greg posted above...was writing this when he posted)
Looking forward to seeing everyone in a week. Over the next week, high of 93 and low of 64 (not including next fri) so water temp should be good for us southerners. Know the northern contingent coming is happy with anything short of a frozen lake.
