A successful first season of runs after restoration and now I am joining ACBS. The membership info asks for boat classification. Would a 1956, Atom Skier be considered a Classic or Late Classic? Also, I reside in Ohio but spend the summer time in Michigan. What are the benefits of adding a secondary chapter for $20.

Found my own answer as I began the membership application: Historic pre-1919 Antique 1919-1942 Classic 1943-1975 Late Classic 1976 up through 25 years old Contemporary Wooden Boats newer than 25 years

John, Glad you found the Classic class. The Atom is looking great. Enjoy!
Belonging to more that one chapter gives you the opportunity to expand on the many events and programs the ACBS has to offer. As an example, my first thought are tech classes that one chapter may offer over the other. I belong to two chapters.
