I have developed a leak at my bilge drain plug. The video in the link below shows water seeping in around the edges of the hull fitting (i.e. it is not leaking through the threads of the plug). Any suggestions as to how best to fix this properly? Remove, apply 3M 5200 or similar, and reinstall? Or is there more to it?
Thanks for any advice and suggestions!

Just to wrap this thread up: I ended up pulling the plug assembly out, and re-installed it with a 4200 equivalent sealant. Has been good ever since.
