I have an 84, 2001, with a 3 bladed standard prop on it, I am considering replacing it with a 4 Blade. I did so years ago on an 85 American Skier, results were night and day, much better tracking and hole shot, I did lose a bit on the top end, but this was not an issue as I am a slalom skier, 34 MPH is as fast as I need to go. Has anyone done so on a similar year Nautique ? Recommendations anyone ?
Thanks

Time & time again people have settled on the ACME 540 as a really good prop for the 2001 1:1 boat. No big advantage to 4 blades IMO. The ACME 540 is very smooth & has lots of bite.

Just red the info on the 540, thanks for directing me in the right direction. The prop on this boat does not appear to be CNC machined, so this makes sense. Thank-You !
