Hi, I was just presented with an opportunity for a 1988 nautique in great shape, I could not turn down. I have never owned one, I have never owned a power boat, I just always wanted one. I don't even now how to even start it, run it, maintain it... can someone please point me in the direction to operating and maintenance manuals. Navigating this web site is difficult, i was not able to readily find this info, but it has to be here somewhere.

Thank you, I'm tough and somewhat mechanical but, be gentle on me...

Congrats! You will love boating. Take the time to understand the boat and boating regulations before you go out. It would be best to find someone in your area that is a boater to help you out. I would also recommend taking a boating class. They are typically given by your local authorities.

And take a look at http://www.correctcraftfan.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=27356&title=ccf-faq" rel="nofollow - the FAQ thread in the maintenance section. There's even a thread on what to look for when buying a boat.

Look at the top line of menus on the web page- the reference pull down has all the manuals.

Keep in mind you have the Ferrari of boats - you went right to the top!

Do we have anyone in the PNW that could show him the ropes?

Congrats BTW!
