Stock prop from my '84 Nautique 2001 for sale. I upgraded to an Acme 542 and then sold the boat. Hung onto this one hoping to use it as a spare for a future boat. Doesn't look like the future boat is going to happen.

This prop ran smoothly, no dings, in great shape. Will ship anywhere in continental US. Asking $125. Thanks for looking!

Hello,

I am running a 12" x 13 Federal prop RH 1" shaft. I recently had to install my spare, so I am looking for another backup. I don't see any reason why I couldn't use your prop. I have the clearance for the extra inch of diameter.

The 13" will be 1/2" closer to the hull so, understand that's below the normal so you may get hull rash. Hull rash is when the gel and sometimes even the fiberglass is eroded due to cavitation from the prop running close to the hull.

Hi Justin,

Per this thread:

http://www.correctcraftfan.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=35744&title=best-prop-for-86-martinique" rel="nofollow - 86 Martinque best prop

It looks like a 13" prop should be fine on your Martinique. I am not familiar with your boat, but on that thread I see some of our most experienced forum members recommending a 13" prop. (They also believe 13 x 13 was possibly stock.) I am surprised that your boat would have a 12" prop installed, being a little heavier than a 2001 of the same vintage. I would think you would get better performance out of the hole with a 13" diameter. 13" dia x 12 pitch makes more sense to me, but I am not as experienced as some here.

That being said, my first Nautique was a Ski Tique, which someone had installed a 13 x 13 prop on. Those smaller boats were definitely designed for a 12" diameter prop, and mine clearly had some hull rash from the 13".

Anyway, the prop is still available - let me know if you are still interested.

Thanks,
Tom
