Older 1980 prestolite alternator on ski nautique went out. Obsolete now and got 63amp marine one wire. Question is...what did the other two wires on old one go to? Will I need bigger circuit breaker on back of engine?

The wires most likely went to the voltage regulator.

You probably have a 40 or 50 amp breaker as a guess.

Do you have an ammeter or voltmeter on the dash? That affects the wiring and the flowpath that the alternator output follows and can affect wire size needed.

Where is the breaker located in the diagram a couple of posts back? That diagram doesn't have one but it would be helpful to know where yours fits into the picture.
