By chance does anybody know of someone who could help me put my 76 back together somewhere close to Northern Indiana? Stringers are replaced, fiberglass all redone beautifully, carpet is in and motor is in shop getting professional rebuild. I have far too much work going on with some rental houses, and time spent in this boat is getting funny looks from my wife!
I’d love to find the right old school guy who could help me mount the motor, make sure all wiring and gauges are in, as well as a good job with the packing on prop and rudder, etc.
Anybody know of a hobbyist who might help me out? Thanks,

I'm not aware of a hobbiest that could help but there is a boat shop in Waterford, MI. Fred's Custom Boat Repair that I does great work. They do a lot of restorations and could easily do your wiring and engine alignment. I have had them do some Gel Coat work. Its about 30 miles north of Detroit, not sure where you are in Indiana, but could be an option.
