Hey all,
Since we've been considering moving up to a larger boat with a tower, I think the 98-02 Super Sports and SAN's look like they may be an option for our family.   I am having a hard time putting a ballpark number on value, and what we should be expecting to budget.   I looked at the for sale section here and there are several examples, but most of the listings are pretty old. Where do you guys find current values?    Seems like Nautiques in general are hard to find in my area, and seem to be all over the place in asking prices.   For example, 92 -95 ski's here seem to range from 8 to 15K asking price, and condition doesn't seem to play into those asking prices much.   It's hard to tell what the selling price is on any of them, but I would think 94-95's in very nice condition are probably worth 10-11K with reasonable hours.

Kris,
My 0.02 worth - with the current situation we are in, and the domino impact for some time to come, I think valuation of "toys" of all kinds may be skewed. If you look at the typical internet sale venues ie: Only Inboards, Ski it again comp, Boat Trader, some of the units here on CCF etc... you will find the asking price "typical" for what we would expect for this time of year.........especially here in the NW where boating season is just getting ready to start. That said, I would part ways today with my boats without thinking twice if I could sell them for the average price of what I am seeing advertised over the web these days. As we all know asking price and selling price are two different things and if I were buying........I would hold off for a few weeks / months as I think some great deals are going to be popping up on boats, fun cars, motorcycles, snowmobiles etc.... and that values overall may "adjust" to a new norm.   Looking forward to inputs form the others on this subject matter.

Thanks Burban,   We definitely will be holding off a bit, but I'm a researcher and not prone to pulling the trigger on anything too soon.   I am thinking that we'll want a 99-02 SSN/SAN in the "fixer" stage, but we'll see how that goes.   the 94 we have was a fixer, and I spent more $$ and time than I would have to purchase a clean running boat.   It's fantastic now, but I wouldn't want to give up water time for a few $$. Kids are growing too fast.
The sites you mention are all over the place on pricing... PN has a near perfect 00 for ~22.5, and there is a totally roached 02 on Facebook for 19.   No comparison on condition of those boats, but clearly value is what someone is willing to pay for a specific boat.
