I'm starting to prep for a rebuild on my '79 Nautique.

Can anyone recommend a good manual for rebuilding my 351?

Thanks in advance.

Doug

I bought the Haynes Ford Overhaul Manual a while back. It's pretty easy to follow and has a lot of photos. But I haven't used it to do a rebuild yet. Good luck.

The hayes manual is not a bad place to start, but I wouldn't trust it all the specifications in it for marine use. Make sure you follow the piston/ring suppliers advice on marine clearances, if your pistion supplier doesn't have or publish these recommended clearances for marine use then don't use those pistons for marine use.
