My recently-sold 1994 SNOB had a shower. My new 2001 SNOB has no shower...yet. Do any CCF members have a factory-installed shower in a 2000 to 2002 Ski Nautique? I have a couple of questions:

- Where is the pump mounted?
- What / where is the source for cold water?
- Where are the water blend controls located?
- How is the shower hose accessed?

My old SNOB had an access hole in the top of the transom for the shower hose to exit the rear of the boat. The hose had a quick-connect fitting. It was mounted so that it stayed below the rear step pad. On my new SNOB, the bilge blower vent tubes are mounted under the step pad, so I'm looking for other places to access the shower hose.

I plan on a DIY shower kit. I've found a nice marine water pump by SeaFlo that looks perfect for the shower. I have a fairly good plan for accessing the hot water from the block (similar to my old boat). Nothing fancy, I just need WARM water when the cold-weather witch bites.

This was my ‘95 and I plan on setting up my 2000 Sport similar to this. I made a mixer valve that I put under the rear center seat in the bilge. Trying to find a pic.
Hot came off the block plug right behind the pump in this pic.

The cold input was tapped off the hose just above the pump with a Tee and some brass fittings.

After thinking about this I may mount the pump back in the trunk some where, less hose running for and aft.
Lines run from water source (motor) to manifold to pump then to shower hose. In this pic the red & blue lines are in from motor then out (yellow) to in on pump then out to shower hose. Manifold is mounted to a piece of plexiglass which is mounted to the top of the strut bolts.
Hope that makes sense.

Thanks for your response. My 1994 SNOB had the pump mounted in the same place as your first photo. Also, there was a pre-installed "outlet" in the transom for the shower. It was nothing more than a hole drilled with a plastic beauty insert. My new SNOB has no hole in the transom. I'm somewhat reluctant to start drilling. The 2001 year has a rear seatback that lifts up with the aid of gas shocks/struts. I'm sure that I can mount the pump there if needed...also the blend controls if I go that route.   The puzzle for me is where to mount the access "hole" to the swim platform.
