Hello all, I'm new to the forum and new owner of a 1964 aqua skier 18’. It appears to be on its original trailer and needs tires/wheels. They are split wheels. Tires are 6.00/6.90-9”. Wheels have 4 5/8”x5 bolt pattern, 2 3/4 center bore. I cannot find new wheels anywhere with these specs. Does anyone have any leads or info? Thank you!

Nick, First, welcome to CCfan. We'd defiantly love to see the Aqua so when you get a chance post some pictures. Also, it would be a fantastic addition to the diaries.
Regarding the trailer, to me it doesn't sound original. With those split wheels it sounds more like a farm implement trailer. Post some pictures of it as well.

Thanks for your prompt reply, glad to be here!
I don't have many good pictures yet, but the boat seems to be very complete with the exception of the dash emblem. It'll need bottom paint and varnish at very least.
I'll post better pictures as soon as I can.

Nick, Thanks for the picture. Keep them coming .What engine is in it? By the looks of the dog house hump, maybe the Interceptor straight with the YH carb?
Yes, you have an original CC trailer and https://www.etrailer.com/dept-pg-Trailer_Tires_and_Wheels-sf-Tire_Only-gw-6.90|6.00~9.aspx" rel="nofollow - here are you 6.00 x 9 trailer tires Why are you looking for new wheels? Clean up the old and put new tires on them.
Congratulations on the find.

The motor is a 318 (fury 210) with a carter afb. I believe the manifold and carb are aftermarket.
I fully intend to clean up the stock wheels, I was just hoping to throw some wheels and tires on it for the interim while I deal with the originals.

I’m surprised at that size tire and 5 lug nuts. I wonder if that axle has been changed over the years. Has anyone ever seen those sizes on a #2 before ?

Thanks Tim. Do you think they changed the numbers of the trailers over the years, didn't a 3 go under the bigger boats?

I think the boat in the brochure Tim posted is a Tournament Skier and is a bigger boat. Here's a similar vintage #2. under a '65 Skylark. It'll go under our Mustang eventually.
