I recently sold a 1985 2001 that we restored and I am looking to purchase another nautique but would like an open bow with a little more room. I am located in southern CA and came across this 1997 with just over 700 hours on it. The guy wants 9k. Clearly it will need all new upholstery but otherwise is sound. I would like some feedback on what those on here think it is worth. I am also getting a quote from C&S on replacement skins. Thanks

That looks like a 96 or earlier model. The 97 has a “bubble back”.

Seems a bit overpriced. Hell I’ll deliver my clean 93 to California for $11k!

Seems overpriced. Always makes me wonder when interior is so bad , what else was just left to the elements and not maintained.

Feels like I am hanging 10 but in reality - probably hanging 6.

I believe the 97 sport is still a slant back, a year behind the Ski in deck and hull updates. Wow what a roached interior.

I appreciate the feedback. Got the quote from C&S this morning and as I figured it is over 3k for complete redo of upholstery. I am also concerned about the overall condition of the boat and what else has been abused if it looks like this. I'm thinking if I could get it for 6k or 7k it might be worth it but for now I'll keep looking. I'm willing to wait until fall if need be and or to ship one from somewhere else in the country. Hoping to find something for 8k-10k and not afraid of needing to do some work to it as I said we restored and 85 but would like to steer clear of wooden stringers this time. :)

Appreciate the feedback.

Price seems a bit crazy to me. Maybe im out of tune with boat prices now days.

Back in 2013 I purchased a 1995 Sport with 721 hrs. Paid 13k. interior had one tiny rip on the corner of the engine cover otherwise flawless.
