Good morning, I recently purchased a 1986 bass nautique and was curious about any sort of reference manuals. The previous owner had done all sorts of hack work to it( electrical, punched holes in the floor for drains that didn't drain anywhere, hence my stringers are crap under the seats) otherwise she's a solid all original boat motor and trailer. Just looking for some direction, most of the stuff I can figure out but it helps to have a reference. Thanks guys!

Logan,
Welcome to CCfan and ownership of the Bass.

Regretably I don't feel you will find much info on the Bass. The best would be some pictures in reference section. We do have a couple members who do have them so give them some time and see if they will respond. One BTW, is VERY fast!!

Post some pictures so we can get an idea of what you are dealing with.

Welcome. Posting pics from a smartphone on this website is next to impossible. Bass Nautique is a rare breed for sure.

67 no, Johnson 140 V4. Except the stringers from bad drainage in the floor, the vessel is solid. It won't allow me to post pictures but I wish I could. She's undergoing a physical restoration to get her back to where she belongs. Most of my time is consumed with removing the house paint the previous owner applied with a roller to the cap. Rewiring everything except the motor, new paint job, hatch covers, lower floor, carpet, and live wells are in order. Hope to have her floating by fall, from what I understand these boats scream on the water

Daryn,
I think you are thinking about the couple of twin Fish's CC made rather than the Bass.
