Don't have a problem as the boat is running great this season. But have been doing some PM and poking around in the service manual and under the dog house to identify things and where they are. I have not been able to find or identify where this Knock Module/amplifier is that is mentioned in multiple diagrams. Also cannot find a part number for it in the Parts book for the motor?
Anybody ever dealt with one of these????Wink

It’s part of the wiring harness. It can be found by the belhousing under the ecm plate. I can get you a picture later ....
It looks like a heavy black plastic envelope

Ill take a look later on today.
edit
Yup there it was, funny looking thing. All my google searching and forum searching never turned up the "knock module", so they must be solid as a rock. Hope I didn't just jinx it LOL

The part number is R116010 for the module

In PCMs words it the "Module, Knock Sensor Control" and it's part number 98 on page E2-1 and E2-2 of the PCM Illustrated parts manual.

I think you have a copy of that manual Wink
