A neighbor of mine got this recently:

https://www.watercraftsales.com/inv/2020-Nautique-Super-Air-PARAGON-23-THREE-LAKES-WI-P488/" rel="nofollow - https://www.watercraftsales.com/inv/2020-Nautique-Super-Air-PARAGON-23-THREE-LAKES-WI-P488/

I had the oportunity to look at it both up close as well as it crusing the lakes. Sorry to those who like them but personally in my opinion it has to be the ugliest both out there.

By the looks of their boat yard I'll bet they were happy to get that monster out of there

Guys, as much as I hate the surf barges they’re keeping Correct Craft and the other inboard manufacturer’s in business. It’s inevitable.

Unfortunately what else may be inevitable because of these is more no wake zones and more regulations due to shore erosion and dock damage to name a few.
If someone were to give me one I would take it Big smile, I love all the room and the amenities they provide but I would never plop down that kind of money for a sport boat. JMO

I totally agree gun-driver, except I would not accept a free one. I live on a large cove about 100 yards across and the max size wake barges rock my dock every week end. During the week isn’t bad. We’re trying to get the state to raise the allowable distance from docks from 50 to 150 feet. Gentleman at the mouth of our cove is chairman of our lake association and has gotten a bill into the SC House of Representatives approved.  Ow to get the senate to act on it.

I wish I made enough to buy it and try it out but I don't.  I like the ability to drop the tower height, that would help store it.  It has a ton of space.  I bet it needs the supercharged 6.2L just to get it rolling.   I really like my old Ski Nautique but it would be fun to party on the big boat and ski off the small boat.

Pete I just realized where this boat is located.  They can buy that expensive of a boat to use 3 months out of the year.  Wow.

These one trick ponies have gotten so far out of hand since I bought my 08 210 . I bought it mainly to surf . Here we are 10 years later and we rarely surf and the 210 is the least used boat in my fleet. I can't imagine spending 250k or more on a world class [surf boat]? I can't even afford the first year fuel and deprecation on a G much less a Paragon. I have met some of the rudest ignorant people in the ski cove who think you need glass to surf. Only good news is they cant get out of bed in the morning so the ski cove doesn't turn into a surf cove until after 9.

They're finally making boats that sell around here.  We hadn't had any ski boat dealers other than a Correct Craft dealer that stopped selling them in the 80's. Now, most of the brands are here and there are Nautiques, Malibus and others everywhere.  Nautiques seem most prevalent. Of the many fairly new Nautiques I saw this summer, only one was a SN.

Bruce,
So all the rest are the big "G" boats?

Like many lake districts, ours is looking at the wake damage to shorelines, piers and lifts. My neighbot lost some of his pier sections the other day and if your boat isn't cranked up far enough on the lift, the wakes are getting to them too. My shoreline is rocked but others aren't so we are seeing erosion there. Cry  Go surf in the ocean!!

Mostly G Boats.  Our lake is big so they'd have to put out a 6' wake or more before they'd be an issue.  I've never heard any shore front property owner even bring the wake issue up.

+1

My crew size is max of 3...with 2 being the preferred number.  15?  No freaking way.  I don’t even have 15 friends — come to think of it.
