Sadly 2 trees came down and hit my dock. Severe damage to kayaks and my wife's rower... The rower gave it's life to save the Nautique... Damage to the 1997 was somewhat minimal... some breaks in the FG on the transom, driver's seat took a hit, windshield is still there and not broken, but the frame is tweaked. cover is toast... And the real shocker, the swim platform is GONE!!! One of the trees cleaned it right off the boat... The brackets are all pointing at the water now... It's a true testament to CC quality as there appears to be no hull damage....  Anyone got a 1997 platform for sale????

small update.... I straightened the platform brackets and my local welding shop TIGd the breaks.. He said "fine for now, but all the heating and rebending will have weakened them. Replace them if you can. I found a set online. A replacement platform appears it will be a custom build with a 6-12 week lead time. In the meantime, the patched up brackets and a temporary platform made from a 1 1/4 pine stair tread are going on today so we can ski. (double high wraps are really hard to put on in the water)

The insurance company has been cooperative so far... Unfortunately, my local CC dealer told me "we're too busy, call us in a month". "Did you buy the boat here?"... I was hoping for a one stop estimate and possibly repairs, but it looks like I'll be GCing the job myself...  (we ski into November and then florida in Feb)
