40,000 what?
What's the point of it all?

What else you got to do after you've used your boats for that one day and winterized them the next

40,000 = number of different opinions on “which oil to use” 40,000 = number of days you’ve lived at 109.6 years old 40,000 = MSRP of Ski Nautique in 2002 40,000 = years between impeller changes 40,000 = caloric content of cereal consumed by my 18 year old son in one sitting 40,000 = number of times Keith Richards of Rolling Stones has been, well, stoned 40,000 = the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow Nancy Pelosi’s true age (see number 2 above)

JQ, you need some help..........I think you have some kind of Nancy Pelosi fetish. It might be the number of times you have Nancy thoughts in a month or maybe a week.
African or European? (you know which comment that applies to)
Could it be the number of times your points open and close in 2 1/2 minutes at 4000 rpm?

I’ll see your 40,000 and increase the wager:
How many engine revolutions will a top-fuel dragster engine complete in a drag run - light to light?
A) 9,500 B) 40,000 C) 540 D) African or European dragster? E) Nancy Pelosi

Most anybody knows it certainly not 40,000, but it's 540
But is that an old 1/4 mile number or a 1000 ft number?
Regardless, I think that's with Nancy driving a 9500 hp european dragster

The lounge suite..........how sweet
Ya gotta recalculate for the 1000 ft dragstrip.
I figure Duane in Indy could give some accurate RPM numbers with todays RPM limiters and the total revolutions would be in the mid 400's to cover that 1000 ft.

I guess I was wrong. I was thinking it was the number of shows Don had left to go to pay for the kids schooling

Umm............not exactly quite right Donald, but close enough.
The number of points he almost has, whatever a point is.
We did have the same points/posts confusion last time too.
That was 1640 days ago when he eclipsed the 30,000 plateau.
He's been slackin' it a bit getting past 39,999.though

By the way Don, you win a free weekend with Pete in the Fabulous Lounge Suite where he will make a point about pointing out all the finer points about points
That would be the points that make spark not the ones he has almost 40,000 of since nobody answered the question last time about the difference between points and posts

Gary, COVID has ALMOST put me out of business. The Jenny Craig and Mary Kay Conventions have been shut down. Social Distancing is though on us exotic dancers. Like the Airline Industry we too have applied for Federal Funding to hold us over during this difficult and unusual time. Pelosi is holding up my bail out.
Madeline will be done with her Doctorate in May 2021 and Natalie is in her second year of Electrical Engineering. Three more years of me having to sell my beautiful body to the chubby chasers.

That's only 2800 bucks a year Mark. Luckily he makes way more on his professional tubing endorsements. Imagine what could have been if he made the commitment and moved to Florida where he could have trained all year and been close to Correct Craft to help develop the Tube Nautique. Instead he chose to live in the Covid/riot capitol of the Midwest.

So your talking 60k shows Don? Just think of your potential earnings with all the pent-up frustrations this virus has caused, maybe only 30k will get you through. 40 shows would let you add a new Paragon to the fleet

Gary,
I am waiting until they are $500K. We should be there in five more years or so. The 2026 Wake Barges will be $500K. I will have college paid for and only two wedding to pay of. Light at the end of the tunnel could be a train.
Regards,
Donald

40001 Pete.......Congrats! As for you others.......these threads go sideways quickly when a few "regulars" participate. I would expect no less as that is what I sign up for when visiting CCF and reading the forums. Those on here that are very young probably can't appreciate the FORUM reading analogy from a certain magazine back in the day......I never thought I would be writing you.....blah, blah, blah.

I would rather we debate the two age old questions in the Fabulous Lounge Suite with Pete.
#1) Freeze Plugs or Casting Plugs.
#2) Just drain, pour in anti-freeze or suck up anti-freeze via the bucket method.
All kidding aside. I had the pleasure of meeting Pete at the Green Lake Reunion about 8 or so year ago and I enjoyed his company. This was the year he did the shaft alignment class.

DING! Another “Lounge Suite” winner. Also accepted is Blood, Sweat & Tears 3 album.
You can collect your parting gift at the end of the show. It’s a set of matching oven mitts to go with the Lounge Suite.
