Hello everyone. I am new to the forum. Just purchased my first Correct Craft Ski Nautique and boat for that matter at the end of August. I bought a 1991 and looked through the forum then to see what to look for before the purchase.

I am searching for the length or part number for the lift shock/strut for the Observer seat in my 91 Nautique. The problem I am having is there is no strut currently attached or hardware. There is some random bolts with nylon washers in the glove box not sure if those are related. Can anyone provide a picture of how the strut attaches as well? Is there a strut for the motor box as well? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sure I will have plenty more questions in the future. I have already done a rear main seal change but am going to have to redo it since it is leaking again.... Not to mention I have a small transmission leak as well I think from the rear seal.

Thank you

Ryan,
Have you looked at Nautique parts for the gas shock?

Ryan,
On the rear main, did you use the proper rotation seal?

I put on a sleeve but I think I may have boogered up the seal putting it on. Not to mention the seal said to not use with a sleeve. So I thi k I will go with a National seal this time.

The gas shock I was confused on because I saw a 90 at a car dealership locally and the observer seat bottom was 2 pieces. Mine is a single piece.
