Heated seats need to replace the vinyl on the passengers bottom seat. Has anyone installed an aftermarket heating pad?

I would think getting in and out of the boat with a wet bathing suit would damage the heating pad in the seat.  You will really have to be careful to dry off good.  Now a heated steering wheel is a different story.  Wink

Both would come in handy if you are stealing docks with your Ski Nautique on a cold winter December day on lake Lanier in GA.

Pretty common option on newer boats, they shouldn’t be bothered by getting wet... not that water should be getting through the vinyl and soaking the foam anyways.

I recall a thread or two here on this having been done. Have thought of it myself. I suspect the upgraded alternator would be in order if you go with this mod...

I absolutely LOVE mine - and wish there was a heated steering wheel option...

huh..
i think a heated steering wheel cover is only 30 bucks

I've installed seat heat  twice now, on my fiat spider then my gf's sportage, easy peasy
Its about 5A per seat, at two elements per seat, on high
chose a product with the dial vs two positions only, else always be hinting, i suspect.
got it for 75 bucks, came with everything, including instructions in engrish

The heat available is substantial, compared to factory auto.
