The tool Ultrarunner mentions can do more than the Equus 3145, but you need a small arsenal of other Ford tools to go with it to get the most out of it.

Ken brings up a good point. I haven’t yet made time to learn the Rotunda box, and tool up to even use. The 3145 reader looks to be a good compromise.

Mark what Rotunda tester do you have? Is it y he 007-0041 Star tester?

Hi Gary, I have the Ford Rotunda 007-00033 EEC-IV Breakout Box. As Ken mentioned, there is a learning-curve to using this box, as it's a 'technicians box', and I've not made time to dig into it. I'm happy to loan it out.
