Need a stock 2005/06 206 Limited temp gauge. Can be Limited or SE. They're no longer manufactured or repaired by Faria.

Are you sure it's the gauge? When my gateway box started having issues, the first gauge to act strange was the temp gauge. It stayed low and began 'ticking'.

No, I'm not sure at all.  However, also not sure how to determine what component, gauge or gateway, is failing.  Mechanic looked at it and felt the simplest, cheapest process would be to swap gauges. A new gateway and gauges is quoted to be around $1800 and not readily available. Besides the temp gauge being totally non responsive, the larger RPM gauge containing digitized temp output, is also inconsistent providing temp info one minute, the next showing a message of "see the dealer". The other digitized outputs seem to be OK. I installed new sensor units for both gauges w/o positive results.  If I can find a a working temp gauge at a reasonable price I'll give it a try. Otherwise, I'll go the simple route and install a one wire 2" nearly look alike Faria temp gauge with an appropriate sensor ohm wise, and run a power wire from the ignition switch. Hate those kinds of repairs, but....
Any thoughts or recommendations?
