Also, does anyone have any experience putting up this bimini/taking it down and if so is there a video anywhere? My girlfriend and I have been really struggling with it. Right now we are putting up the front beam while I hold the back and then she screws in the mismatched knobs and then we put up the back with the quick release pins. To take it off we do the opposite and then lay it in the floor of the boat. Strap it down to the trailer via the platform brackets. There's no problem and many do use the techique. 

+1      For gel coat repair Spectrum makes kits but you will have to do your homework as to which one it is. Color might have to be "adjusted" as well to get a perfect match. When you get ready to do it get back to us,we can help walk you through the job. Rollers and Nautiques don't go well together . Post some pictures from the side not so close. Who's brand of trailer is it?

Thanks for the link for the gel coat repair kit! I was just gonna grab a random one from the store; didn't know you could get one with factory colors so I'll definitely grab one of those!

I don't have a picture of the side so I'll post one tomorrow. I don't know much about trailers but the bill of sale I have says it's a "Ram-Lin".

Wow they do! I looked through there and only saw the 2 axle non-skid so I kept scrolling. I can't believe i didn't even try clicking it before and now I see they keep their non-skids as a single listing and you choose the option for a single axle. Thanks!!

I store my boat about three miles from the ramp and I never get over 45 MPH.  I leave my top up most of the summer.  My top has a cloth sticker telling me not to exceed a specific speed. Seems like it is 55 MPH.  Last week, I saw a nice I/O boat on the highway that probably had been running over 50 to be on that road and the top came apart on him. It was ugly. Stainless Steel bars might hold up better than aluminum. Towers Bimini Inc, in California ( Danny) has some good top hardware to check out. His tower tops are the best. 

When I take my boat somewhere, I remove the top. It is a PITA but I remove it.  When I install it, I put the front legs of the top on first then the back legs then I reinforce with the middle legs.  I too have a tower and speakers that can get in the way. You need to be careful working around the windshield. I am always concerned I will drop a leg down and bust the windshield out. With my speakers, I can't just fold , cover and store it in place.  The price I pay for pimping. 

Definitely don't want my bimini to tear apart so I may just suck it up and pull down the bimini every time.

Since the boat is new to you at the bare minimum I would jack up each tire and make sure the bearings are turning smoothly and your brakes are working.   If you find a loose wheel fix it before it strands you.

Glad you are having fun with a new toy.  And you posted pictures right away, nice work.

Thanks, for the suggestion on how to check the brakes, I was just kind of assuming they were working but I should definitely check that.
