I have a 78 southwind 20. I'm wondering why it turns easier (tighter turn radius) to the left than it does to the right.

Gavin,
Check to see if your rudder turns the same degrees to port as it does to starboard. If not, there's an adjustment we can walk you through.

Also, due to the rotation of the prop as it interacts with the hull, steering in one direction is always better than the other. Our Clockwise prop rotation CC's do turn better toward port.
