I am getting 14 volts from alternator but not at the battery. Cut out relay or voltage regulator? Not too familiar with either of those. Any thoughts? Thanks ------------- 2004 196 LE Ski 1969 Marauder 19 1978 Ski |

Bill, Charlie's 318 did the same this spring. He cleaned up the contact points and that fixed his issue. Well that one looks new fangled and electronic, not quite as new fangled as the one Pete posted a link to though Is the old one mechanical or does it have all those electronic gizmos in it too? Maybe the belt sander will work on that one

Let's see, so far you.ve posted a link to a voltage regulator that has 3 wire connections and one that has 1 wire connection and Bill's has 2 Keep trying and maybe you'll find the right replacement Pete

I'd take my chances with one of these in the link below as a guess not knowing the alternator and regulator part numbers.
