Lousy at searching.

New to boating, no cracks, dull chalky finish.

Do I need to sand this out or can I just polish it?

Is there a thread here that others have discussed DIY options.

Oh, best products? I have read too many reviews on the internet and find myself so confused.

Modern stuff to old paste wax.

Which way to go??

Try google and include Ccfan’s full website name. Try starting with 3m super duty and a wool pad on a rotary polisher…not a DA. If that cuts it then you will need to polish and wax. If not, start sanding w 1000 and go deeper as needed.

Post a picture and we may be able to tell you where to start with the wet sand and or just buff.

Here's a google search of     correctcraftfan wetsanding

Lots and lots of threads and reading Wink

http://www.google.com/search?q=correctcraftfan+wet+sanding&oq=correctcraftfan+wet+sanding&aqs=chrome..69i57j0i8i30j0i390l2.13923j0j4&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8" rel="nofollow - link

You could substitute polishing or buffing for wetsanding in the above search and have even more reading to help you decide
