The snow broke my windshield on my 1983 2001. It distorted the frame a little bit but I plan to reuse the frame anyhow. I was thinking of having my local glass guy cut me a windshield out of tempered glass. I am hoping someone out there has the measurements for the glass.  I will consider all positive and negative suggestions.
Thanks

King of Paint

Before you get too excited you'd better do some measuring.  Wink

An 80 has a skinnier windshield than the 2001 series like yours that started with the bigger hull in 82

If the windshield pictured is too small for kingofpaints boat and he passes, i am interested in it.
I have a 79 nautique that needs one.

The boat pictured looks stripped, do you still have the hull ?

Ok, my windshield frame from boat deck to top of frame and right edge of frame to left edge of frame is
 21 1/4" X 68"

The inside of the windshield hole from edge of metal to edge of metal is
18 1/4" X 66 1/2"  I just realized the top is more narrow at 64 1/4"

I don't know if the window recesses into the frame 1/4" or 3/8" around the edges so can I have one cut. Does anyone know how much of the glass is inside the frame?

Glass is finicky, even tempered. I’d be cautious on putting a chunk of glass in a frame that wasn’t true.

Click on the link below and you'll see a post from Chuckactor saying that he has the CAD files for your windshield, that he could send by e mail

The price he paid for the glass was reasonable and if you're not adventurous, you could have a glass shop do the install along with the cutting. Wink

It's the 6th post down

Send him a PM, he was last logged on a couple of weeks ago
